Hi, Gang:
We had our monthly luncheon today at Imiloa and we finally had lots of classmates. Hallelujah!!! Now, lets see if I can remember all of them. It was really nice to see Roy Oshiro and Denton Dart from the mainland, nice to see new faces like Henry Aina and Moses Moke, and welcome back Lloyd Shimoda and Bert Nakayama from their honeymoon, and good to see the rest of you....Roland Higashi, Jimmy Arakaki,Abraham Kubo, Mel Miyasaki, Arly Simmons, Nan Hiraoka, Annie Maesaka, Margaret Torigoe, Marge Kanemitsu, May Murakami, Margie Hanselman, Millie Yamamoto, Ethel Kawano, and Alice. Lorraine Inouye was coming but caught a cold. Others are on a trip and couldn't make it. Some of you are still sleeping. Better get up and smell the flowers.....I mean smell the fooood. We had good food, good friends, good company and good time. Today, we learned about making good tea.
Our next luncheon next month is November 10th @ Ice Ponds Restaurant or Ponds Restaurant (old Harrington's Restaurant). Be there at 11:00 am because the parking is limited so come early. Bring your bathing suit we going to swim in the ice pond. Now, I'm just kidding!!
Thanks, Roland and Jimmy for sacrificing your time. I'm sacrificing mine, too. :=) See you next month! We are going to skip December and January due to our busy schedule.
Please let others know that are not on the e-mail. Many of our classmates don't have e-mail so you have to tell them or call them up. Some don't even open there e-mails, too hmmmm.
****Don't forget, next year May 3-7, 2010, the mainland committee Mitchell, Everett, Mike and Roy are planning an unforgettable 70th birthday reunion in Las Vegas. If God's willing, please be there. :=)
